Update from Pastor Eric

I'm at home from the hospital as of yesterday. My surgery was Thursday in the early afternoon. During the surgery, they removed part of the tumor (not sure how much of it). I start treatment (Radiation & Chemotherapy) on this Wednesday, December 12.

I want to thank everybody for the outpouring of prayer, love, support, emails, phone calls, visits, etc. Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In All your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path.

Update on Pastor Eric

It has been about a month now since his surgery and he still hasn't started treatment. His symptoms have worsened by the day. He is worse then before they discovered the tumor. They went to UCLA and he had an MRI taken this week. From the MRI they found that the tumor has grown tremendously and is more aggressive. They give him only a few months to live and that is with another surgery and the following regular treatments. The doctor said is the surgery will make him miserable it's not worth it. Which is understandable, who would want to spend their possible last months miserable? But in order that he might live longer they are going to proceed with the surgery by next week.

Overall, God is mighty and works in mysterious ways. He will have His ultimate will and He is capable of doing a HUGE miracle. Whatever happens, it is for a reason (Romans 8:28).

Please pray:
Wisdom for the doctors
Wisdom for the family with decisions
Pastor Eric's condition, surgery, recovery, & God's ultimate healing.
Comfort, understanding, peace, and wisdom for Pastor Eric & his family.
God's sovereign will and mercy.
God's peace and comfort for all struggling through this difficult time.
So on...

Please Pray

Susan Sorian finding that Pastor Eric was still sick after being sick for a while took him to Urgent Care Monday Morning. He was Dehydration gave him an IV, Shots, took his blood and gave him a CT Scan. They Found swelling in his brain, they admitted him to San Antonio Hospital while there Family and Friends waited for the results, later that night the doctor found that it was not swelling but a Cancerous Tumor on the front right side moving to the left. It hit hard and a surprise for everyone. Through this past week he has been in the Hospital he had surgery on Wednesday to get the tumor out. It went as excepted they got most of it but there is still some on the left side. In two weeks they will start Chemotherapy and Radiation. Please Continue to pray for him, that he will heal completely.

Thank you to all who are praying, keeping him in your heart, and doing all you can do to help. It means more then you’ll know to us.

To update this blog on everything. September 14-16 the woman had a woman’s retreat. It was held at Murrieta Conference Center. It was such a blessing we had Janie Alfred come out to speak.
The whole Retreat was on Ps. 23. It was such a blessing, the Lord always comes and touches our lives, as He did to all the woman at this retreat.
